Southern A&E provided full design services for the new 91,770-squarefoot athletic facility at LaGrange High School, creating a comprehensive venue for both competition and year-round training. The centerpiece of the project is a full competition gymnasium designed to host basketball, volleyball, wrestling, cheer, and other events, with bleacher seating for 2,010 spectators. Visitors enter on an upper mezzanine level that houses restrooms and concession areas, providing a convenient and efficient flow for large events.
To support athletes across all programs, the facility includes six locker rooms, a 2,637-square-foot weight room, and a nearly 6,000-square-foot wrestling and cheer practice space. At the rear of the building, a 30-yard indoor synthetic turf training area allows for multi-sport conditioning in any season. Generous storage areas are distributed throughout the facility to accommodate athletic and maintenance equipment, ensuring smooth daily operations and long-term functionality.
