Situated on 23 acres between Jackson County HS and Heroes ES, Legacy Knoll Middle School forms part of a multi-school campus that supports students from kindergarten to graduation. LKMS accommodates 900 students with specialized labs, a media center, a cafeteria, and a gymnasium. On-site athletic facilities include baseball/softball fields, tennis courts, a football stadium with a track, a turf practice field, and three grass multi-purpose fields.
