The Empower College & Career Academy Automotive Lab is a 7,306-square-foot addition delivered for Jackson County School System that expands hands-on career and technical education opportunities for students. The project includes two instructional classrooms, a 2,732-square-foot automotive technology lab, dedicated office spaces, and supporting areas designed to accommodate modern equipment and instructional needs.

The facility was planned to provide a practical, industry-aligned learning environment that supports workforce readiness and technical skill development. The new automotive lab enhances the Academy’s ability to prepare students for postsecondary education, certification programs, and careers in the automotive field, reinforcing the School System’s commitment to career-focused learning.
