The new 195,000 square-foot Jackson County HS was completed in the fall of 2021 as part of a 134.7-acre project designed by Southern A&E. The high school, situated on 89 acres, is part of a combined campus that includes Legacy Knoll MS and Heroes ES. Additional facilities include a performing arts center, media center, a synthetic turf football field and stadium, and a large gymnasium. A football stadium with a full track is also on the JCHS campus.
