Southern A&E designed the 164,000-square-foot Rome College and Career Academy, which opened in February 2021 to offer students a diverse and hands-on learning environment. This innovative facility includes specialized classrooms and labs, supporting programs in Cyber Security, Broadcast Production, Sports Medicine, Veterinary Services, Manufacturing, and Fire/Police training. The academy also features an indoor 55-yard synthetic turf practice field, equipped with lockers and a weight training area, providing a dedicated space for athletic training and physical education.
